1. Who collects your data

When you submit a form hosted on Submio, your response is collected by the individual or business that created the form (the form owner), not by Submio directly. Submio is the platform that hosts the form on their behalf.

2. What data is collected

The form you completed may collect any data you explicitly entered — text, email addresses, ratings, file uploads, etc. Depending on the form owner's settings, the following metadata may also be recorded:

  • Anonymised IP address (last octet removed for IPv4; last two groups for IPv6)
  • Browser user-agent string
  • Referrer URL
  • Time taken to complete the form

Full IP addresses are never stored. The form owner may disable metadata collection entirely.

3. How your data is used

Your submission data is used solely by the form owner for the purpose described in their form. Submio does not sell, share, or process your submission data beyond what is required to store and deliver it securely to the form owner.

4. Data retention

Submission data is retained until the form owner deletes it. If you would like your data removed, please contact the form owner directly. Form owners can delete individual submissions at any time.

5. Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

If you are located in the EU, UK, Brazil, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact the form owner who collected your data. For questions about Submio's own data practices, use the contact below.

6. Security

Submio stores all data in encrypted databases and uses HTTPS for all data in transit. File uploads are stored in private cloud storage accessible only to the form owner.
